    Fantastic services! I was gifted a vintage leather bag and tried to do some leather cleaning at home, then ended up making some weird spots. I was so disheartened and brought it to The Cobbler in San Mateo where they were able to match the color of the leather perfectly and hide the spots I made. It took about a month, but totally worth their great work. You can still notice the spot I made if you knew where it was previously. Sharing before and after photos because they really brought this bag back to life. Will definitely come back and recommend their services.

    Sick! The Cobbler did a fantastic job, shined em nicely, also. I’ll be using them for any future needs. Tailoring, too. I wear out my outer rear sole on shoes n boots. Always wears down those expensive soles, like these Doc Martens, too fast! And, feel lopsided steppin, so gonna try the steel plate, see how long they hold. Update to come. For now, I sound like a cowboy with spurs on, as I step. Thas awwwright.:) Thanks, Ate & Kuya!!

    I love this cobbler! They are an adorable family that pays close attention to detail, cares a lot about customer service and offers reasonable prices. I brought a pair of long black boots that kept breaking and the Cobbler team fixed them. When they broke again, they fixed them again for free! I highly recommend this place for any shoe fixing needs.

    I will definitely come back here again! I took my YSL purse in because I saw great reviews of repairing designer bags. She told me 2 weeks and it was exactly 2 weeks! I’m very pleased with the work they did. They even did their best to get this weird smell out of it. The lady and her husband I think it was were very kind. I called a day before and the day of my pickup and they were very helpful.

    Jay is a real craftsman. He did a wonderful job doing a full JR leather resole with combo heels and triumph toe plates. My worn out Allen Edmond Plymouths are BETTER than a new pair fresh out of the box. I am super-picky about the details, so I appreciate the quality of the stitching, sanding, and even how he carefully cut out the toe leather to perfectly fit the toe plates flush for an OEM look. It takes time and patience to do these jobs well, so I’m very glad to find a local cobbler I can trust w/o having to go through the time and expense of mailing my shoes away for recrafting. - you can’t do better on the Peninsula. @Jay: I hope you don’t mind I grabbed your photo off Facebook for this review! I’ll be back with Fifth Avenues for the full treatment next week when I pick up my Strands.

    I had the best experience! I got all my questions answered and was so happy with the service. I got my shoes stretched and a red mirror gloss protective sole. The Cobbler did the service in just a couple days so I could have my shoes back quickly. I already recommended this shop to some friends and will definitely be back! Such professionalism and great customer service.

    Jay and Dana are skilled, hard-working business owners who do their best in their artistry and customer service. They’re open six days a week. Jay has performed emergency repairs for me on luggage, shoes, and designer handbags. Dana has altered some vintage designer pieces for me. She did a magnificent job. These are skilled and trusted business owners who have built a reputation for quality work and timeless service, all delivered with a thank you and a smile. How refreshingly wonderful is that!

    Best shoe shine Ever! They were able to take off all of the scuff marks from my shoe. Dropped off Wednesday picked up Thursday. Did a great job looks amazing.
